He met her at the park
Where they usually met after work
and then walked the rest of the way home, together
When he saw her this time
sitting by herself, waiting for him
he collapsed in grief and into her arms
no one in the big city but them
and he told her they couldn't meet there anymore
because his boss let him go
Hugging him close
She whispered into his neck
Only God can measure how much I love you
